They talk a lot about how everyone is part of the family but honestly when you work there you feel like you're nothing but a widget in the machine. It’s obvious it’s a family run business because in my opinion there is obvious special treatment of family. It’s a family run business and while sometimes this can be a pro, it’s not. Did you go above and beyond? Here’s a free t-shirt. Instead of bonuses for good work you get stuff like an ice cream truck coming to the office and you get a free ice cream. It seems like the only ones that want to go back to the office are the micromanagers. Work from home could have been the biggest benefit Argen offered, but they have squandered that opportunity by bringing people back to the office after a year and half of results that showed people were perfectly capable of doing their job away from the micromanagers. The 401k match is a miniscule $950 a year max, you can do the math on how low a percentage that is based on your salary.
